The BAR Framework is a highly integrated network infrastructure consisting of managed BAR servers and switches configured to deliver optimum backup performance. The network topology and related Ethernet connections optimize communication bandwidth between the Teradata nodes and BAR servers. The BAR Framework, in conjunction with a Teradata Tape Library and/or Disk-Based Backup, creates a complete and robust Teradata Environment that provides the customer with the best total data warehouse solution.
